CO2FIXATOR

CO2Fixator: turning soil
into a climate ally.

CO2Fixator is the trade name of a patented mixture of bacterial and fungal strains that exploits microbial competition with bacterial strains already present in the soil substrate to reduce greenhouse gas emissions caused by the fermentation of plant residues in the soil.

CO2Fixator effectively transforms agricultural soil into a carbon sink, while improving its quality.
The advantages of CO2Fixator are not limited to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Laboratory analyses and tests, as well as field trials, have shown that CO2Fixator also significantly promotes the retention of other elements such as nitrogen and phosphorus in the soil.

The natural fertilizer
that improves soil and the environment.

Use in both the laboratory and in the field has resulted in a significant reduction in CO2, CH4, and NO2 emissions, and the biological process generated by the use of the mixture has effectively converted organic matter into a more stable and nutrient-rich fertilizer, indicating a highly efficient decomposition process and bacterial metabolism that has minimized the volatilization of these elements.
At the same time, the use of C02Fixator in the field has demonstrated the compound’s ability to increase the organic matter in the soil at the end of treatment and reduce the need for irrigation, with savings of more than 30% in water use.

From soil to environment:
a technology
applicable anywhere.

It has also been found that the increase and fixation of trace elements in the soil, combined with the presence of Trichoderma viride, has led to the rapid development of seeds and spores already present in the soil, whose CO2 fixation activity (quantity) is added to the CO2Fixator’s fixation. All this triggers a virtuous circle that supports normal agricultural activities.
Compared to other CO2 capture techniques and systems, such as reforestation, algae cultivation, air filtration, or CO2 conversion into fuel, CO2Fixator can be applied anywhere there is soil, agricultural or otherwise, including organic waste, sewage sludge, and organic fertilizers.
